PSO provides a nutritious meal to homeless veterans at various locations in the TriCounty area throughout the year.
We welcome individuals to assist in preparing, serving, and packing meals to be distributed to military veterans of the local area.

PSO volunteers are needed to assist in organizing clothing, hygiene kits, and other supplies in our closet locations.
We receive a wide range of donated items on a weekly basis from our supportive sponsors. These supplies are distributed to veterans, active duty military and their families who are experiencing a housing crisis.

Have a free day during the week and need volunteer hours? Our team takes great pride in picking up donation items from various store locations, and we would love to add you to our weekly schedule.
Pick-ups will include dropping off either at the North Charleston VA location or a designated PSO storage area.

Each year PSO partners with the Ralph H. Johnson VA to host a Pre-Thanksgiving dinner for homeless veterans and their families to provide food and other essential items. It is our biggest event of the year!
If you are looking for an opportunity to volunteer around the holidays, please consider joining us! Volunteers will prepare food, serve packaged meal items, and help with delivery.

1. Do I need to have volunteer experience to be a PSO Volunteer?
No, we just ask that all individuals that apply have a heart to serve those in need and will remain professional while committing to their volunteer positions.
2. I am unable to download the forms provided. Is there another option?
If you are having a hard time completing the form, you may also reach out to us by calling our Mobile Hotline at 843-729-8666. We are more than happy to assist.
3. Will PSO accept group requests to volunteer?
Absolutely! Please provide an approximate number of individuals that are interested in volunteering, and the best time to schedule Volunteer Training all at once. The training will be provided virtually (via Zoom) so we will be able to accommodate a group.
