We have been blessed with a wide variety of volunteers, including those
from youth and church groups, as well as those from businesses.
As a PSO volunteer you will be a Foot Soldier in the fight to end homelessness for our country's veterans by:
Assisting with the distribution of basic items such as clothes, blankets, food, etc and informing the homeless about referrals for additional assistance.
SAY “YES, I will help”
PSO provides a nutritious meal to homeless veterans at various locations in the TriCounty area throughout the year. We welcome individuals to assist in serving as well as groups that provide the food and serve it.
Come meet some of the veterans who served our country!
Volunteers assist in replenishing and organizing clothing and other basic need supplies in our Closet. These supplies are distributed to veterans, active duty military and their families who are experiencing a housing crisis.
Volunteers assist in replenishing and organizing the Pantry. These nonperishable food items are distributed to veterans, active duty military and their families who are experiencing a housing crisis.
Volunteers can assist at our office answering phones, updating social media, grant search and writing as well as other administrative duties.
Each year PSO, Inc. holds a Thanksgiving dinner for homeless veterans and sponsors military families to provide food and gifts for their celebration of Christmas. Volunteers prepare food, assist at the dinner, prepare Christmas baskets, and help with delivery.
